I am an assistant professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. I obtained my PhD in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the University of Washington.

November

  • NASA is using our algorithm! When compared with the previous state-of-the-art, our optimization algorithm helps NASA achieve five times faster computation using only one-tenth of the lines of code! Read about it in NASA’s annual project review and learn more about it in our paper!
  • Our paper on powered descent guidance won the 2023 AIAA Guidance, Navigation, and Control Best Paper! Congrats to my co-authors!

  • Our paper “Active Inverse Learning in Stackelberg Trajectory Games” has been accepted for publication in 1st Workshop on MAD-Games: Multi-Agent Dynamic Games, as part of the IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS) 2023.
  • I presented my recent work on netro routing in urban air mobility at the Young Researcher’s Session at NASA’s Workshop on Clean Slate Approaches to Crewed and Uncrewed Air Traffic Operations, and my recent work on inverse games at the Semiautonomous Seminars at University of California, Berkeley, CA, USA.
  • Invited by Meeko Oishi, I gave a Zoom presentation at the NSF CPS Frontier weekly meeting at The University of New Mexico, NM, USA.
